Just four days left
In the blurb for this blog I said I'd write about running. Well, here we go.... I'm four days away from my first London Marathon. Yep, it's this Sunday. I'm at the Edexcel conference centre out in London's docklands collecting my race number. An emotional moment. Pictured is Derek, the nice man who gave me the number. And me, receiving it. Just finished listening to John "The Penguin" Bingham give a motivational talk about enjoying the day, running slow, slow, slow, and then slowing down a bit. "Think of all the hundreds of thousands of people who want to be standing with you at Blackheath on Sunday, waiting for the start gun, who didnt make it," he says. Hmmm.
